Labels Development Methodology
This 360 degree service feature in our basket separates us from the crowd. Be it a label, a packaging or a catalogue, every job involves both Visual and communication design aspects as well as the executional aspects, both of which need to be in sync for a perfect output.
1 Material and Adhesive Selection
The first step is a thorough evaluation of the surface on which the label will be affixed, as well as the anticipated temperature and moisture conditions that it will be subjected to. This critical step ensures that we can carefully select the most suitable material, adhesive type, and post-printing processes to be employed in crafting your bespoke label.
2 Size and Shape Determination
When it comes to label printing, the label size and shape are critical factors that require careful consideration. Our team takes into account the available surface area and the content to be printed. Additionally, we navigate tricky surface shapes with curves that can cause wrinkles on the label, modifying the label shape as needed. Our expert design team also provides input on aesthetics, helping to determine the best label shape for your product.
3 Design
Once the Key Line Drawing (KLD) is handed over to the design team, they start working on the label design. Based on the client brief and competitor style analysis, our designers come up with designs that match the client’s brand image and the product packaging.
4 Colors and Post-Printing Effects
In sheet-fed offset printed labels, we can print up to five colors. These can be matte or gloss laminated or have U.V varnish. We can also incorporate post-printing effects like foil stamping to add texture and visual appeal to the label.
We acknowledge how imperative it is that aesthetics and technical aspects go hand-in-hand to make our client’s label stand out from the competition and we let our final product do all the talking!
