Designing Tata Reality’s Welcome / Possession Kits for their Project-Rio-De Goa
Client Brief
Our client, M/S TATA REALTY developed a property in Goa and approached us with a request to create an enticing welcome kit that would reflect the Goan culture and capture the essence of this vibrant tourist destination. They wanted the kit to provide a lasting memory for the new property owners, and also serve as a reminder of their second vacation home.
Our Proposal
With the client’s vision in mind, we crafted three distinct propositions. The first concept was a lighthouse made out of metal that would transport the recipient to a picturesque beach on a breezy day, surrounded by the scents and sights that are quintessentially Goa. Our second idea was a bar set that would evoke celebratory feelings and mark the moment when the new owners took possession of their dream property.Lastly, the third proposition was a unique azulejos box which would not only serve as a home decor item but also be filled with a collection of joyful memories that would always be associated with the owner’s vacation home in Goa.
Final Showstopper
After careful consideration, our client chose the azulejos box as their preferred marketing kit to be offered by their realtors to new property owners.
Designing Aspects
To capture the beauty of the sea and evoke a sense of the Goan culture / influence, we designed the entire theme with an oceanic look and feel. The outer box was made out of durable MDF adorned with beautifully painted tiles with intricate patterns that were a statement of Goan culture. To complement the oceanic tones of the box, we opted for vibrant and warmer hues for the elements inside, as displayed in the attached images below and were cohesive and in harmony with the theme as a whole.
Material Selection
With the product concept and design finalized, we moved on to the next phase of our 360-degree printing process. We chose a material combination of MDF (Medium Density Fiber), Kappa and magnetic closure, as they provided a sturdy feel while accommodating the size and volume of the elements. We then crafted the box and adorned it with oceanic hues, symbolizing the new owners’ warm welcome to their beach paradise of endless possibilities.
We selected jute pouches and a jute outer bag to complement the contextual setting of the Goa beaches, where tourists and residents are on vacation mode bask in the sun while flaunting their hats and also so as to serve as a reminder of the relaxed, beachy setting that is a hallmark of this tropical destination
