Packaging Development Methodology

1 Product Evaluation
So we adopt a comprehensive and detailed approach to packaging development which starts by factoring in the product being packed, including its weight, size, fragility, moisture protection requirements and any necessary accessories or trays or partitions.
2Material Finalization
With this information, we map out the best variant of packaging that includes suitable opening and locking mechanisms. Following this, we determine the required grammage (GSM) of materials and fabricate a plain dummy that is subjected to rigorous strength and dimensional testing to meet our client’s specifications.
3 KLD & Graphic Design
Upon approval of the dummy, our technical team creates a Key Line Drawing (KLD), or punch line and sends it to the design team for the process to be further undertaken. Our design team then carefully selects the design theme and graphic elements to appeal to the target audience and consider communication aspects such as taglines and mandatories in detail.
4 Sample Proof & Mass Production
Once we get a go-ahead from the client on the design, we initiate a sample proof run before mass production.
In terms of bespoke packaging, we know how crucial it is to have a keen eye for detail. So right from the get-go, we decipher the right design theme, color scheme, and post-printing textures and effects such as Drip off, Spot/raised/textured U.V, Gold foiling, and physical embossing to achieve packaging that truly strikes the chord!
